3 Step Self Defense
I use a 3 step conceptual and eclectic method of Personal Protection and Self Defense which builds and continuously enhances its curriculum based on real world experience and a variety of sciences (Police, Military, Psychology, Physiology, Bio-mechanical, and Criminology, among others).
This methodology uses the body’s instinctive and universal protective reaction from danger and utilizes body’s natural Gross Motor Skills, simple and effective movements optimized under stress.
There are no Martial Arts “Moves” or “Techniques”, as reality and experience demonstrates that concepts, strategies, tactics, tools, targets, and gross motor skills are simpler, instinctive, seldom forgotten, duplicated under stress, and most importantly, usable by anyone, anywhere, and in any situation.
The training is simple: We use scenarios that replicate reality by incorporating dialogue, emotions, fatigue, adrenaline, one or more attackers with or without weapons with full psychological intent to do violence.
Training is customizable to fit the needs, physical abilities, and lifestyles of business executives, frequent travelers, journalists, tourists, diplomats, government agents, as well as other individuals limited by time constraints but in need of Personal Protection training.
Semi-privates (Up to 8 participants) are also available and have attracted couples, families, and even students looking to improve their skills faster.
